Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love.

Because Christ has rescued your heart:

  • Your heart is no longer prone to wander.

  • God the Father doesn't wear 'Jesus glasses'.

  • Your sin is no longer you.

  • You do love God with all heart.

  • There is no difference between the purity of Jesus' heart and yours now.
